We used Helix Transfer and Storage for our move from DC to New York City and it was a great experience. Management was very responsive to our inquiries leading up to the move, and on the move days the movers (Jose, Manny, Eliot, and Marco) were quick, careful and professional! Jose was the foreman and did a great job coordinating the move, even with some unorthodox components (e.g., loading belongings from both an apartment and a U-Haul truck), difficult New York roads and traffic, and a delay on our end that resulted in the move crew reaching our destination before we did. Overall, I would use Helix again and I would highly recommend them.

I had such a great experience moving with Helix Transfer and Storage. The movers were punctual, had all the materials needed and were incredibly efficient. They carefully wrapped the sensitive furniture and secured boxes that I had not secured properly. I highly recommend you to use this company if you are in the DMV area.

We were extremely stressed out about moving everything from our TH to a new home. We have many large and heavy furniture pieces, that are also fragile. Helix guys were amazing from the start to the end. Every single piece was professionally wrapped and packed. Everything was carefully assembled and placed in places we wanted it to go to. Helix movers, specifically Srecko and his team, were phenomenal from first contact to final delivery. We were able to move from Massachusetts to Pennsylvania easily, even with next day delivery. Everything arrived in great condition and the movers made it look easy. Well worth any expense for such high quality service.

My move with Helix was exceptionally well done. Daniel's crew arrived on time, did an amazing job wrapping delicate items, busted a hump all day in brutal heat and humidity, drove 100 miles to the new destination, and carried a lot of stuff up a steep and narrow stairway, all without complaining once. In fact, these guys were probably the most cheerful and professional movers I've ever hired. Nothing broken, no problems of any kind. And the final bill was spot on for the totally reasonable estimate, with zero extra charges. Peter in the office is a straight shooter and delivers on his word, and they hire only first-rate people. I would hire Helix again in a second without hesitation.

I requested our home move on short notice. Peter was able to squeeze us in for the same weekend, which was a miracle! The team of three worked efficiently, yet carefully. They were extremely skillful in moving and handling fragile items. The offload was fast and they listened carefully to our wishes for placing objects in our new home. Amazing, for a last minute move. Peters communication and coordination was amazing. Jonas and the team were fast, accurate and awesome to have around. They definitely too the stress out of an already stressful situation. I was so amazed at the accuracy and pace the movers moved at. Great company to work with Full tansparency of cost amd communication throughout The whole process. All boxes and furniture were loaded quickly and when ready for delivery we receive notification, and all boxes and furniture were unloaded. No damage, nothing missing. All personnel extremely personable.
